Come to Downtown Howell for the Legend of Sleepy Howell, Livingston County’s largest outdoor trick-or-treating event. This year’s theme is monsters so come dressed in your best and be ready to scare! The FREE trick-or-treating will take place on Clinton, Court, and Church Street. After gathering all the candy you can, head over to State Street and the Courthouse Lawn for fall-themed and Halloween activities. Be prepared for crafts, games, inflatables, and so much more.

After trick-or-treating, join the Headless Horseman 5k or the Monster Mile! The race will kick off at State Street and Clinton at dusk. Costumed runners will wind their way through historic neighborhoods and Scofield City Park.

Trick-or-treating is FREE and is from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The Monster Mile begins at 5:30 PM and is $25 per person.

The Headless Horseman 5k begins at 6:00 PM and is $35 per person.

Register before September 30th to get a long-sleeve race shirt.
