Explore Independence Lake County Park on a lantern-lit one-mile trail with a self-guided hike through the woods on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Participants must check in by 7:30 pm to complete the program by 8:30 pm. This event is $15 per family/household for up to 4 members per family/household. Vehicle entry fee required. Weather, trail type, and trail conditions will dictate which trail will be lit. Dogs are welcome! There will be a campfire and treats at the pavilion after your hike.
Only one person needs to register as the fee is per family/household. Register at washtenaw.org/registerparks.
