Warblers & Spring Flowers at Kensington Nature Center

May 3, 2025
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Welcome the season with Warblers & Spring Flowers at Kensington Nature Center. The spring season is the best time to spot Warblers throughout the Metropark. Join the Nature Center staff as they search the trails of the Metropark for spring flowers, such as the Michigan Orchid, and listen to the sounds of the migrating Warblers.
Kensington Metropark has a special opportunity that not many other places offer. Visitors can hand-see wild birds (Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, and possibly others.) This is the perfect opportunity for an up-close observation of these migrating birds and not to mention, the ultimate photo-op.
Note: Entrance to the park requires an entrance fee or an annual metropark pass.
