Parks for the Pup
No matter where you are visiting in Livingston County, there are pet parks only a few miles away. The Countryside Veterinary Dog Park and EZ Dog Park are both located in Howell and made specifically to let your canine run and play. Visit Whitmore Lake’s Bark Park to let your fur babies exercise leash-free (behavior permitting) within in a safe, fenced in area. There is also a children’s playground next to the bark park for kids to burn energy at as well!
The Brighton Rec Area, Genoa Township Park, Kensington Metropark, and Island Lake Rec Area are parks that also allow pets but requires them to be on a leash. Check out the Genoa Township Park, there is a ground level fountain available for pets to quench their thirst, and cool off.

Restaurants
No matter what city you’re in, there are pet-friendly options for dinner. In Howell, enjoy a meal with your pup on the patio at Diamonds, Aberrant Ales, and Block Brewing. Brighton restaurants that allow man’s best friend include Lu and Carls and Block Brewing, and after a delicious meal, treat you and your dog to Blank Slate Creamery or Jacks Custard. If you are visiting Hell, check out the Hell Hole Diner with Fido. Fowlerville’s Dairyville also serves pup cones for only $1!
