Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz and Barbecue Blues Festival – Know Before You Go!

August 29, 2019

Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz and Barbecue Blues Festival is coming soon! This Livingston County event is one you definitely do not want to miss. Bring your family and friends to experience the amazing food, music, and local shops!

We spoke to the event coordinator, Jen Ling, about her favorite parts of Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz and Barbecue Blues Festival and here is what she had to say.

What makes Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz and Barbecue Blues an event for the entire family?

Great food (both for barbecue lovers and for non-barbecue folks – including kid-friendly vendors such as Tony’s Dogs). We have a bounce house area, giant games, a super high climbing wall, a pie-eating contest with a kids and an adult round, and children’s activities with SELCRA! For a date night, attendees can stroll up and down Main Street and enjoy the tasty barbecue, race each other on giant trikes, do some painting with Paint and Pour and check out amazing jazz and blues acts while sipping on some beer, wine or hard seltzer in the music venue/beer tent! There’s also a Cornhole Tournament happening in that area!
