Have you had a craving for something sweet? Are you looking for the best bubble tea in the Brighton Howell Area? Do you need a spot to catch up with friends with snacks, shakes, and other fun goodies and gifts? Look no further than Whey Better Cookie Co. in Brighton! We caught up with Keri Hayes, owner of Whey Better Cookie Co., to let you know everything you need to know before you go!
Tell us about Whey Better Cookie Co.
We are a bakery that focuses on protein baked goods. We are not a diet company, we still use sugar and flour, and butter. We add the whey protein to fill you up, keep you satisfied so you eat less.
What is your favorite part about owning a business in the Brighton Howell Area?
I grew up in Brighton. My family moved here in 1980 when I was in the 3rd grade. It’s grown a lot since then, but still, so many people that I grew up with are still here. It’s so fun to have former classmates and teachers walk through the door, we have so much history and so much to talk about. I love Brighton!
What is something a first-time visitor to Whey Better Cookie Co. should know?
If you want a sweet treat, but something with a little more “substance” and not so many empty calories we are your bakery! We do have healthier options of course, like our protein shakes and peanut butter cups. We only use real fruit in our shakes, never added syrups or artificial flavors.
What is a can’t-miss item at Whey Better Cookie Co.?
Our bubble tea and cookies are a tie for first 🙂 Oh, or the banana pudding…that’s also a sellout each week 🙂
Why do you think someone should visit the Brighton Howell Area?
Our area has so much to offer. There are so many small businesses in the area which adds such character and charm. I am even seeing friends from BHS opening their own businesses too. Even though the area has grown so much, we still have that “small-town charm” From the millpond in Brighton to the courthouse in downtown Howell, our downtown areas still give you that old-time small-town l feel.
