Schell Family Farm

In 2024, Schell Family Farm in Pinckney, MI, has been growing their Christmas Trees for 7 years and is in their second year of cuttable trees. The tree farm will continue to grow over the next few years and will soon have upwards of 5,000 to cut each year! The trees are open for cutting starting Black Friday, November 29th, 2024 at 10:00am. After that, the farm will be open Saturday’s and Sunday’s through December 15th, 2024 or when trees sell out. Be sure to follow their Facebook Page for updates.

The choose and cut varieties at Schell Family Farm include 6-12 ft. Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, Balsam Fir, Blue Spruce and Norway Spruce. The pre-cut varieties include 6-9 ft. Fraser Fir, Douglas Fir, and Blue Spruce. After choosing your tree, check out their fresh wreaths, gift items, and delicious donuts!

Middle Road Tree Farm

Middle Road Tree Farm is a small farm at the edge of Hartland, MI. Opening day for this farm is November 23rd and they have both U-cut and Pre-cut options. The species of trees at Middle Road Tree Farm include Fraser Fir, Blue Spruce, and Concolor Fir. This small farm accepts cash and check only and you can look for updates on their Facebook Page.

Cohoctah Meadows Tree Farm

Cohoctah Meadows is a small farm in a rustic setting owned by Paul and Lynn Morrison. The species of trees at Cohoctah Meadows include Balsam Fir, Concolor Fir, Black Hills Spruce, and White Spruce. Make sure to purchase some of their homemade maple syrup as well!

Waldock Tree Farm

How do you make a day out of selecting your perfect tree? Start out by grabbing a cup of coffee or hot chocolate from your favorite coffee shop! Once you are all warmed up, head out to the tree farm. After you find the perfect tree, grab some lunch at one of our unique restaurants. After you’re fueled up, get some Christmas shopping done at an area shop.
