Brighton Coffee House & Theater is a popular hot spot for buzzing and brewing. As you walk in, you'll notice the coffeehouse is always bustling with life. This shop works to bring the finest coffee and tea creations in a home-like environment with a theater flair.
The Menu
The kitchen is propelled by a state-of-the-art espresso machine that is the key to the barista's many delicious creations. The menu has standing favorites like the cappuccino, mocha, and chai tea. The other half of the menu rotates with the seasons to provide unique beverages like the holiday spice chai or the iced lavender field. You can enjoy most of the drinks hot or iced; just ask the server. The menu also includes lemonades, smoothies, and sodas. But as a bonus to new coffee drinkers, you'll find that each coffee item has a helpful drawing of the coffee through x-ray vision, so you know what goes into the tasty drinks. Speaking of tasty, you can't leave the Brighton Coffeehouse & Theater without trying their pastries. Each morning, a fresh batch of bakery delicacies grace the counters. Local favorites include blueberry muffins, chocolate croissants, rice crispy treats, and almond bear claws. If you're looking for a meal, handhelds, salads, and rotating soup are on the menu, too. The sandwiches are made on artisan bread, including the Cressida, the Brutus, and the Juliet. Each sandwich is named with passion in the theater world. You could try the Romeo featuring turkey, provolone, tomato, greens, and house sauce, while the Rosalind has turkey, swiss, avocado, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and horseradish. Pair your sandwich with a homemade soup or a fresh salad. There are four salads to choose from. The fan favorite is the Traverse City Salad, which has dried cherries, pecans, cucumber, red onion, and tomato. The Space
The Brighton Coffeehouse & Theater has plenty of seating to enjoy coffee with friends or bust out your laptop to get some work done. Comfortable cafe tables and chairs, armchairs, loveseats, and window-side seating are available throughout the two levels of the shop. Plus, the patio on the back of the cafe faces the Mill Pond and Imagination Station, so your coffee comes with a view. The Black Box Theater can accommodate about 70 people for theatrical shows and public meetings. This space makes everything possible: classic musicals, book readings, book signings, art shows, community meetings, and more.Hours
