Hazen's Farm has been a family-owned and operated orchard for over 50 years. It is a U-Pick farm and offers only the highest-quality blueberries, raspberries, and peaches. The farm's country store, Sweet Marias, is the perfect place to find homemade gourmet cookies, jellies, jams, syrups, and our award-winning raw honey. At Hazen's Farm's Sweet Marias, all confections are handmade. They specialize in making the freshest confections using fruit grown on the farm and other local farms. Join us at Hazen’s and enjoy homemade pies, ice cream, cookies, muffins, and much more. You can order online or stop by the market for ice cream, sweets, and blueberry baked goods during the week. Seasonally, you can find baking classes for children, adults, and couples. In these classes, you can learn how to use farm-fresh produce and make delicious treats in your own kitchen.
The History
In the 1950s and 1960s, Arthur and Edna purchased 25 acres of land in Commerce Township and 80 acres in Howell, Michigan. After clearing the land during evenings, weekends, and holidays, Art and his son, Dennis, planted over 25 acres of blueberry bushes and launched the future of Hazen's Farms. Throughout the years, Hazen's Farm has remained a family-owned business. Opening day of berry season has become a working family tradition as everybody pitches in.Related Stories & Events
