Plan a restorative Michigan getaway and slow down with a Sound Bath Meditation with Deanna Bordeau, taking place Saturday, June 6th from 4:00-5:00 PM. This deeply immersive experience invites visitors to relax, reset, and recharge as soothing vibrations from crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and other healing instruments wash over the body and mind. Sound baths are known to help release stress, clear emotional blockages, and promote a lasting sense of balance and calm—perfect for travelers seeking mindful moments during a destination getaway.
Led by Deanna Bordeau, a Reiki Master/Teacher, Sound and Vibrations Therapy Practitioner, and Health and Wellness Coach, each session is grounded in compassion and resilience. A breast cancer survivor, Deanna brings a powerful, uplifting presence that encourages participants to reconnect with themselves and find peace amid life’s demands. Thick cushioned mats are provided, with guests welcome to bring blankets, pillows, or eye masks for added comfort. A minimum of four participants is required to hold a session.
Before or after your sound bath, explore nearby hidden gems—boutique shopping, cozy cafés, scenic trails, lakeside parks, and locally owned restaurants make it easy to turn this experience into a full weekend escape. Whether you’re visiting for wellness, relaxation, or discovery, this event pairs beautifully with everything the Brighton–Howell area offers for a truly refreshing Michigan experience.
