The experience at this store is a trip in itself. When you stumble upon Hell, you’ll see just as many attractions and activities outside the Screams store. The property is nestled on top of the Hell Creek River and includes nature trails worth the wander. Outside is Putt-Putt golf next to giant posters with head cutouts, which are perfect photo opportunities for you under the official Gates of Hell. Outside is the wedding chapel, available for rent by the hour so you can have your special day in Hell. Adjacent is the Locks of Love Bridge, a one-of-a-kind stop for a date night in the Brighton Howell Area. One of the best ways to spend your day in Hell involves renting a canoe or kayak and paddling through ​Hell. The water is connected to the beautiful chain of lakes in the Pinckney Recreation Area.

When you get inside, the walls and display tables are full of all the hell-themed paraphernalia you could think of. Screams is a hilarious store with T-shirts, glassware, and other souvenirs from Hell. It is the only place where you can celebrate Halloween all year long. The official post office is inside this building, too. The office will take your mail and stamp “Been Thru Hell” on every single letter, which may end up with scorching marks.
