Scofield Park

Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Scofield Park at the corner of Thompson and Barnard Street in Howell. This family-friendly all-season park is about a 10-minute walk from the downtown area. Whether you want to take a scenic stroll, play on the swings, picnic with family and friends, or enjoy some fun in the sun at the beach, this Howell city park is the place for you.

Thompson Lake Beach is the perfect place to enjoy the sun or go swimming. There are bathrooms, picnic areas, and a playground to enjoy for families of all ages.

Boat Launch:

Thompson Lake also offers a public boat launch. Boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards can be dropped off at the Roosevelt Street boat launch, which is minutes from downtown Howell.
