Where can you have the perfect winter weekend escape?

Friday Evening

Take a half day at work and arrive in Brighton around 5pm. Check into one of the many hotels near downtown including The Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Candlewood Suites, Hampton Inn, and more.

Once settled, head down Grand River Ave to Single Barrel Social for a craft cocktails and a cozy dinner which will start your trip off right!

Saturday Morning

Wake up on Saturday and have a slow morning to prepare for fun later in the day!

Head over to the Brighton Coffeehouse and Theatre, grab a hot cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a delicious breakfast treat, and take in the cozy vibes of this wonderful coffee shop.

Afterwards, walk around Main Street and discover all of the adorable local shops. Visit unique stores like Wallflower Mercantile, Artisan’s Bench, 2 Dandelions Bookshop, Wood ‘N Things, and so much more!

Saturday at Noon

At lunch time, stop in to one of the many delicious restaurants right on Main Street. Craving tacos? El Arbol has you covered. Looking for a burger? Try the classic Champ’s Pub for all kinds of burgers! Want something elevated? Brighton Bar and Grille is perfect for the family.

Saturday Evening

After lunch, head back to the hotel to digest and get ready for an evening of fun at Mt. Brighton!

One special quality of Mt. Brighton is that during the winter months, even when the surrounding community doesn’t have snow on the ground, the resort is able to make snow and have white peaks all winter long. So bundle up and get ready to hit the slopes on ski’s or a snowboard.

Once you’re all worn out from going up and down the mountain, pick up a delicious personal pizza from Captain’s on Main to take back to the hotel and end the night right.

Sunday Morning

On your final day in Brighton, head over to Kensington Metropark’s Farm Center to go on a sleigh ride, visit the animals, and get a cup of hot cocoa in the Farmhouse Grille.

Before embarking on the journey back home, get a lovely brunch downtown at spots like Bourbons or The Reserve Steakhouse.
