About The Brighton Howell Area:
Converging the essence of rural and urban into adventuresome experiences
The Brighton Howell Area in southeast Michigan is in the center of it all, the main arterial highways of US 23, I-96, and M-59 run through it connecting this area to popular Michigan towns: Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Lansing. Livingston County is made up of seven communities: Brighton, Fowlerville, Hartland, Hell, Howell, Pinckney, and Whitmore Lake.
Historic downtown districts serve up an open invitation to explore destination dining, boutique shops, and vibrant entertainment. Known as an outdoor playground, the surrounding area overflows with sights and scenes that will leave you inspired. Plan your escape to our 50,000+ acres of parks, 123 miles of trails, 184 lakes, and 20 golf courses. Countless sports and recreation options call, and we have the answer.
Finish strong at one of the area’s specialty stores that stand out from what you’ll find elsewhere, then grab a pint and a bite from our local craft breweries, coffee shops, and eateries that draw a following from afar, yet make you feel right at home.
