When traveling through downtown Brighton, you may notice the large brick building on the end of the Mill Pond. The historic building is the CoBACH Center, the City of Brighton Arts, Culture, and History Center. With an eventful, historic past, this building is the perfect location to display the vibrant histories of the Brighton area. The brick building was originally built in 1879; it is home today to the Brighton Area Historical Society, Livingston Players, and the Brighton Art Guild. The space is used as a museum, stage, and gathering space for these groups and beyond in the heart of downtown. The Brighton Area Historical Society proudly puts on cultural and historical significance displays for visitors to learn about the past. The main floor of the CoBACH Center is a gallery space with a library of information available on the historical happenings of Brighton's past. See their website for the current display before visiting!
