Deerfield Hills Nature Area is a 365-acre park in the northern part of the Brighton Howell Area. The wooded area features an extensive loop of nature trails and a handicapped-accessible dock area on Howe Lake. This park is a great spot to unwind and immerse yourself in the area's natural beauty. The park has a 3.8-mile loop on an easy trail perfect for hiking and biking. Posts mark the different trails throughout the outdoor area so you won't get lost in the acreage. Look out and prepare to learn more while you wander! Plaques and informational signs describe the flora, fauna, and history of the Deerfield Hills Nature Area. For your convenience, there is a bathroom and benches in the nature area, too.
