Ponderosa Ridge Farm
Ponderosa Ridge Farm Market and Angus cattle is a working family farm where visitors can experience agriculture and agrotourism the way it was meant to be. As you explore the farm, you'll see Angus mother cows caring for their calves, free-range chickens roaming the property, roosters crowing in the distance, horse and pony running in the fields and both vintage and modern farm equipment that tell the story of generations of farming.
The farm proudly preserves pieces of agricultural history. Among the collection is a Case tractor that holds a special place in Michigan farming history—it was the second Case tractor sold in the State of Michigan following World War II. At Ponderosa Ridge Farm, they are committed to honoring our agricultural heritage while producing high-quality, locally grown food for our community. Every part of the farm reflects the dedication to tradition, stewardship of the land, and the values that have guided the founding family since before 1918.
The Ponderosa Ridge Farm Market is housed in a historic barn more than 200 years old. The products are farm-raised USDA-certified Angus beef by the cut, quarter, half, or whole beef, fresh farm eggs, tallow-based products made from our own cattle, and a growing selection of locally produced foods and handcrafted goods.
In addition to farm products, they proudly partner with more than 14 local suppliers, with new vendors joining each season. The market provides local farmers and makers an opportunity to offer traditional, wholesome foods and handcrafted products without having to be on-site of a seasonal farmers market.
Ponderosa Ridge Farm Market has become more than a place to shop; it's a gathering place where traditional foods, family recipes, local craftsmanship, and community connections are celebrated. Together with local partners, they bring products to visitors that reflect the values of quality, sustainability, and heritage.
