Parshallville Cider Mill
This orchard is not to miss during the fall season! Commonly known as the Parshallville Cider Mill, it is located in Parshallville, a small picturesque community sitting on the banks of the North Ore Creek in the Brighton Howell Area.
This cider mill, a 136-year-old historic site, attracts autumn visitors from all over the state. It features one of Michigan’s few remaining water-powered mills. Throughout the season you can take a guided tour of the mill. This tour will show you some of the historic features of the cider mill, share the history of the purchase and conversion of the grist mill, and you’ll visit the press room where you can try freshly pressed cider and learn all about the process of making cider the old fashioned way.
Each fall you can watch them make cider, spiced donuts, caramel apples, and homemade apple pies. Then, enjoy the tasty treats for yourself. In addition, you can choose from a variety of heirloom apples for baking and eating. They also offer made-in-Michigan products, including local honey.
