Pumpkin Spice Up Your Fall in the Brighton Howell Area

Pumpkin Spice Latte 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.

You’re going to need energy to get through your fall, fun-packed day! Start your morning off right with a hot pumpkin spice latte from the Brighton Coffeehouse & Theatre in Downtown Brighton.

Enjoy the relaxed, cozy atmosphere or take your latte to go and walk the Tridge right behind the coffee house.

Fall Colors 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Breathe in the crisp autumn air at Kensington Metropark. Take a walk or bike through the trails to take in the lovely fall colors as the season changes.

The colorful sites and fresh air will leave you feeling refreshed and at peace.

Apple Orchard 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Nothing will put you in the fall spirit an apple cider. Sip on this refreshing fall beverage while exploring the family-run Spicer Orchard’s in Hartland.

This fall activity is perfect for the whole family. Spicer Orchard’s has animals for the kids, apples and donuts for everyone, and wine for the adults!

Pumpkin Patch 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Find the perfect canvas for this year’s jack-o’-lantern at the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch at Chambers Family Farm. The pumpkin patch is open all October.

After finding the perfect pumpkin, test your navigation skills at the corn maze!

Dinner 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

A long day of apple picking will surely make you hungry. Come to Block Brewing to get some fall comfort food like the delicious Killer Mac & Cheese – add brisket for some extra goodness!

Haunted House 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.

End your perfect autumn day at the Terrorfied Forrest in Pinckney! Follow along the outdoor haunted trail if you dare! Look out for spooky creatures awaiting you in the woods.

Be swept with spine chilling, hair raising fear as you travel through the Terrorfied Forest!

Ghost Tour 11:59 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

The Historic Howell Theater is known as one of the most haunted locations in Southeast Michigan with unexplainable activity happening frequently within the walls of the cinema. The experience of a hunt that is never the same twice leads countless guests to return each year to investigate potential paranormal activity. The hunts are a fundraiser for the continued restoration and operation of this golden age of cinema movie house.

As part of the two-hour hunt, guests will have the opportunity to interact in various ‘experiments’ to encourage interaction with the spirit world. (The Portal Paranormal Society) PPS uses some of the latest technology as well as some older techniques to capture any interactions and unexplained energy.

All are welcome to attend, but parents are advised to use their discretion on age of children in attendance. While the hunts themselves are rated “G” no one can know or control what any spirits may say through the equipment. This is an indoor, walkable event and attendees who have investigative equipment are welcome to bring and use it as long as it doesn’t interfere with the hunt.
