Discover art in unexpected places with the Brighton Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit, a self-guided public art experience woven throughout downtown Brighton. Featuring more than 30 sculptures, including a growing collection of permanent installations and rotating works by Michigan artists, the exhibit transforms downtown streets, parks, and gathering spaces into an open-air gallery that can be enjoyed year-round. Each sculpture adds its own character and story to the downtown landscape, giving visitors opportunities to experience creativity while exploring local shops, restaurants, the Mill Pond area, and community events.
Visitors are encouraged to take a self-guided walking tour to discover the collection at their own pace. Along the way, interpretive plaques provide insight into the artists, inspirations, and stories behind the works, making each stop both engaging and educational. The Brighton Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit offers a unique way to experience the city through creativity, culture, and public art.
