Howell Melon Festival

The Brighton Howell Area is home to one of the most unique events in Michigan. The Howell Melon Festival highlights a rare cantaloupe variety that has only grown in this area.

This can’t-miss summer tradition brings the community and visitors together to celebrate this beloved fruit while highlighting the area’s nostalgic charm, delicious melon ice cream, and vibrant festival atmosphere.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy live entertainment, a variety of vendors, delicious food, and, let’s not forget, the beloved Howell Melon Ice Cream. The whole family can enjoy a range of activities like the Howell Melon Run and the Melon Roll.
