Whether you’re in town visiting the Legacy Center or visiting friends and family, you can make the most of your time here by exploring everything the area has to offer. There are so many options in Brighton, but here are a few that make for a day well spent!

Morning: 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Reviewers from all over the country rave about Cheryl’s Place. When you try their delicious breakfast, you’ll understand why. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at this local diner to give yourself fuel for a fun day ahead.

Late Morning: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Make your way to Brighton‘s principal shopping district where you can spend the afternoon shopping and enjoying the culture of the downtown area.

Saturday mornings in May through October make way for the Brighton Farmers Market, offering a fresh harvest from local farmers and a seasonal variety of baked goods, plants, flowers, and crafts.

The kids will love watching candy being made before their eyes at Oh My Lolli! This shop features handmade sweets in an allergy-free environment. There are numerous flavors and colors available for you to pick your new favorite treat! Afterward, take a stroll through the sculpture exhibit, explore the Imagination Station, and visit the Mill Pond.

Lunch: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

After adventuring around the downtown area, you’re going to build up quite a hunger. Head to one of the many restaurants located right downtown like Sidecar Slider Bar for unique sliders, Bourbons for authentic southern cuisine, or Casa Tequila to have delicious Mexican food.

Afternoon: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

After you’ve curbed your hunger, you will have a newfound energy for more exploring. If you need an extra pick-me-up, head to Brighton Coffeehouse & Theatre for a delicious cup of coffee hand-roasted in-house.

Once you’re energized, explore the rest of downtown by visiting the many shops that line the streets. For home decor try Wood ‘N Things, Wallflower Mercantile, or The Artisans Bench. Find some cute new clothing at Sunny’s on the Corner or Brass + Oak. Grab some food for later at Culture Beer and Cheese or Great Harvest Bread Co.
