Genoa Charter Township Park Sled Hill

The sled hill at Genoa Charter Township Park stretches 200 feet long, with a vertical drop of approximately 40 feet. This hill is the perfect ride for all ages and is open until 9:00 p.m. daily during snowy months.

Additionally, this location offers several amenities that make the experience great. Benches are located on top of the hill for others waiting their turn to take their plunge downhill, or for parents watching over young ones. Heated bathrooms and a warming area are provided at the Township Park Pavilion nearby.

Sledding and Tobogganing at Kensington Metropark

The Orchard Picnic Area at Kensington Metropark has a variety of sledding hills to choose from, starting from beginner to advanced. A designated bunny hill is available to young ones bordered by padded trees for added safety.

Toboggan runs are also available in addition to sled hills. However, toboggans must be a standard size with attached padding on the seats.
