Celebrate Halloween with a fun, safe, and non-scary experience for the whole family at Trick-or-Treat along the trail, taking place October 18th at Kensington Metropark’s North Hickory Ridge picnic area. This festive outdoor event invites families to follow a pumpkin-lined trail filled with fall-themed photo ops, costumed characters, and plenty of treats. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in weather-appropriate costumes and bring their candy buckets to collect goodies along the way.

The walk covers about a ¼-mile round-trip on grassy, dirt, and gravel paths with both flat and gently hilly areas. Groups will begin their trick-or-treat adventure in staggered intervals within their selected time slot to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Along the trail, families can expect interactive games and educational activities designed especially for young children, making it ideal for early elementary-aged kids and their grown-ups.
