If you’re into craft beers, the Brighton-Howell Area boasts 5 budding breweries that create their own, signature beers that you’re sure to love. Support local businesses while sipping some delicious pours on the Livingston County Brewery tour!
Located in a renovated brick building from 1873, Brewery Becker offers craft beers made on-site in downtown Brighton with light eats inside a beautiful taproom. Most of the beers they make are gluten-free, and many are limited release – resulting in everything from Scandinavian farmhouse ale to west coast style IPAs. In warmer months, sip your summer shandy on their patio! Find out what’s on tap!
At Eternity Brewing, there’s something for everyone to appreciate in their tap room, from IPAs to stouts. They handcraft their beers in small batches, giving them fantastic names such as STAR S’MORES: Episode IV A New Mallow. See what beers are on tap and get excited for those coming soon here!
Block Brewing is all about bringing together two simple passions: craft beer and good food. The latter passion is most evident in their BBQ meats, which are smoked onsite using locally grown Hickory wood in their Southern Pride smoker. You’ll find some interesting styles of brews, such as the Black IPA and Birthday Beer. Check out their line-up with some enticing pictures, organized by color with detailed descriptions! They’ve even expanded to a second location, in Brighton!
The brewing history of Aberrant Ales begins in a garage with five-gallon batches, evolves into a one-barrel electric brewhouse in a basement, and transforms into a full brewpub in downtown Howell. The pub offers great beer such as session style Brut IPA and New England pale ale with added mango. After trying some of their pub style nachos, you can head over to their game room for some fun. See what’s on tap!
Livingston County’s newest brewery features a variety of brews from lite to dark. Hard cider and wine are also available. Pizza, hot pretzels, charcuterie board, salads and sandwiches(with vegan options) headline their menu. Try out this family-friendly restaurant for yourself!
