Splash ‘n’ Blast at Kensington Metropark
π: Brighton
The splash pad at Kensington Metropark is the perfect place to cool down on a hot summer day. Ride down two, 240-foot water slides or explore the spray ground while getting misted by palm trees, serpents, and water-spraying cannons. This is a fun way to keep the children entertained while escaping the summer heat. Splash βnβ Blast, being located on Martindale Beach, allows the adults to unwind on the beach.
Kayak Hell Creel
π: Hell
Jump into some fun in Hell – Michigan, of course! The kids will love to hit the water to cruise through Hell Creek, which runs directly through the unique town. You don’t have to pack your own, rent a kayak or canoe from Hell Kayak & Canoe rental!
Day Camp at the Howell Nature Center
π: Howell
The Howell Nature Center offers summer camps for different age groups. While meeting other kids their age, they can engage in a variety of fun camp activities. During day camp, kits can dip in the designated swim area, see who can catch the biggest fish, or go kayaking. The Howell Nature Center summer camps are a great way to explore nature while having fun.
Beaches
The classic summertime activity – hitting the beach on a hot day. Cool off this summer with the kids by visiting one of the many beaches in the Brighton Howell Area. Most of these beaches offer a playground, picnic pavilions, and volleyball courts for when you get tired of splashing in the water.
