COVID-19 and Travel

Livingston County visitors,

We know many of you are tracking COVID-19 (coronavirus) and looking for up-to-date information.

The Livingston County Convention & Visitors Bureau is closely monitoring the status of COVID-19 as the situation continues to evolve. We will update this page with new developments. We are encouraging visitors and residents to follow guidelines from our local health agencies and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Keep in mind that now is a time to prepare, not panic. Please remember these basic measures to prevent the spread of the virus:

  • Wash hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds
  • If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol
  • Cough into your elbow and sneeze into a tissue and throw the tissue in the trash
  • Consult with a doctor before traveling when sick
  • Stay up-to-date on vaccinations
  • Avoid contact with people who are already sick
  • Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
  • Be aware of the latest travel advisories from the CDC and U.S. State Department
