Happening at Island Lake Recreation Area on September 26th & 27th, this free astronomy event invites you to explore the wonders of the universe with the help of local astronomers, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassadors, and a field full of telescopes of all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned sky-watcher, this weekend promises to be both educational and awe-inspiring.

This event gives you the perfect opportunity to witness the stars, planets, and deep sky objects through powerful telescopes, attend presentations from expert astronomers, and enjoy a keynote lecture each night from Br. Guy Consolmagno, SJ – Director of the Vatican Observatory and President of the Vatican Observatory Foundation
