Dia de los Muertos in Brighton

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is teaming up with El Árbol Taquería and the Brighton Area Historical Society for a family-friendly afternoon of events Nov. 2 in honor of Dia de los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead and All Souls Day.
Events will run from 2-7 p.m. They include:
- Ongoing activities at the Brighton Amphitheater, including food and beverages, face painting, crafts, a photo booth, and ofrenda or memorial altar making.
- Live music at the AMP provided by Mariachi Cristal from 5-7 p.m.
- Guided tours of the Old Village Cemetery at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- St. Paul’s Historic Chapel will be open from 2-7 p.m. for candle lighting and personal prayer in honor and remembrance of loved ones departed.
In case of inclement weather, events will be moved as much as possible into St. Paul’s, El Arbol, and the CoBACH buildings.
