1 Island Lake Recreation Area

Spend the morning paddling the Huron River. Check out the wildlife in the crystal clear water and maybe even cast a line! Nick and Andy planned their trip so they could bike back to their car before grabbing lunch at El Arbol in Brighton.

2 Brighton State Recreation Area

Get your mountain bike and head over to the trails! Nick and Andy picked the Torn Shirt Trail at the Brighton State Recreation Area. On their second day of adventure, they grabbed breakfast Two Brothers Coffee Brew & Eatery. You can’t forget your caffeine fix! They headed into Howell for a quick coffee from Black Iron Coffee Roasters before hitting the road again.

3 Pinckney State Recreation Area

Go take a hike! You’ve got over 123 miles of Livingston County trails to choose from. Nick and Andy hit the Silver Lake trail. They went to explore downtown Howell afterward, grabbing dinner and drinks at 2Fog’s Pub.
