Detroit Polo Club horse stalls with brown horse in Hartland.

Detroit Polo Club

The Brighton Howell Area is home to Detroit’s Premier Polo Venue – Detroit Polo Club! In 1999, the club found its home in Hartland on a beautiful 160-acre property that boasts two regulation-size fields, a practice field, 60 stalls, and over 50 acres of pasture—a true polo paradise.

This facility hosts club matches, tournaments, and corporate and educational events. Whether you want to learn to play polo or love watching the rush of galloping horses, this is the perfect place to start.

Outside the arena are two seating areas: bleachers with a view of the match and a deck with tables, chairs, and furniture. You are welcome to bring blankets, additional chairs, and snacks, and make the most of your afternoon with the horses. When visiting the club, remember to dress for the weather.

Admission to visit the Detroit Polo Club is free! Be sure to check out their website for the latest events and matches.

The Detroit Polo Club is a current and long-standing member of the United States Polo Association (USPA).
