Lutz County Park
Lutz County Park is a true hidden gem in Deerfield Township. This park has been designed to offer a unique trail system with scenic views. Across the 100-acre park, lies a 1.3-mile trail system that provides plenty of opportunities for you to experierece high-quality natural areas and wildlife habitats. Amenities include picnic tables, benches, on-site parking, and a restroom.
As Lutz County Park is located near the Oak Grove State Game Area, creates a larger expanse of acreage for the preservation of natural features, wildlife habitat, and the South Branch of the Shiawassee River. The meadow is the perfect place to experience blossoming wildflowers in the spring. While the pond if the ideal habitat for frogs, turtles, and salamanders. You’ll truly feel up north Michigan while exploring this park.
The park is also on its way to becoming Michigan’s newest Dark Sky Park meaning its an exceptional place to experience quality starry nights.
