Haunted Forest – Terrorfied Forest
📍: Pinckney

For 23 years, Terrorfied Forest has been the go-to haunted attraction in southeast Michigan. Since its inception, owners Marie & Byron Butler have taken over and twisted this forest to become one of the most visited haunted attractions in southeast Michigan. This haunted forest takes visitors through an almost one-mile trail to encounter creatures who have lurked through these woods for years. Ask for “Monster Repellent” for those who scare easily at the ticket booth.
Visit this forest every Thursday through Sunday through October.
Historic Howell Ghost Tours
📍: Howell
In October, local psychic medium Dianna O’Grady takes thrill seekers on a ghost tour through the historic streets of Howell. This Ghost Tour takes visitors through the streets of downtown to experience the past come alive. Tour leader Dianna will tell stories of ghostly apparitions, shadows, and orbs, all shared by local business owners, residents, and paranormal investigators.

As kids, visiting the corn maze during the fall season was the highlight of an autumn outing. This Halloween season, recreate your favorite childhood memories – but with a haunted spin. Slaughterhouse Adventures in Fowlerville offers a haunted corn maze, haunted house, haunted hayride, and two escape rooms.
Each attraction is open every weekend in October on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Haunted House
📍: Howell

If you love being scared, we dare you to try Slay Nights in Howell. Every weekend in October, your nightmares await you in this 10,000-square-foot indoor two-story haunted house. Your night of terror begins by placing you in the center of the abandoned video rental store called Mike’s Home Rental. Visitors of this premier haunted house can expect to be frightened to the core and want to come back.
Go to Hell
📍: Howell

What could be spookier than visiting Hell? Hell, Michigan, that is. During October, the city of Hell showcases its Halloween spirit. While visiting, check out Screams Souvenirs From Hell & Helloween, get some ice cream from the Crematory, or become Mayor for the day!
