It’s always an adventure to visit the award-winning downtown, Howell. The fall season brings the opportunity to see the city in a way like never before! Local psychic medium, Dianna O’Grady, offers annual ghost tours through the historic 150-year-old streets of Howell. These tours are a staple event for fall in Livingston County and are incredibly popular among locals and visitors alike! Before your trip, check out this Locals Guide to Howell Historic Ghost Tours.
What To Expect On A Ghost Tour
Dianna O’Grady of Essential Wisdom leads visitors on a walk through the downtown area where you will experience the past and the present come alive! She will tell you stories of ghostly apparitions, shadow figures, and orbs, as experienced by local business owners, local residents, and paranormal investigators.
Her tours have grown in popularity due to the actual unexplained experiences tour participants report, as well as the ghostly images captured on camera throughout the tours! If you’re brave enough, click here to view photos and read accounts from past tour-goers.
Spirit Sightings
One of Dianna’s favorite tour memories was from a night in 2014. She accounts, “There was a group of about 20 people taking photos into the alley and can attest to the fact that there was no one standing in the alley! This one still gives me chills!”
Tour Dates
The Essential Wisdom Ghost Tours run every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in October.
Advanced purchase is required to secure your tour reservation. To book, please contact Dianna using this page with the date, time, and number in your party. You will receive a PayPal invoice within 24 hours. Private tours for groups of 4 or more are also available at any time throughout the year. For more information, contact Dianna here.
The tour meets and departs in front of Howell’s MainStreet Winery. It is an outdoor walking tour that departs on time and in all weather conditions, so you may need to bundle up! Before your tour, enjoy exploring the shops and restaurants in downtown Howell.
