Where can I get on the Michigan Flyer?
Travelers can get on the Michigan Flyer in Brighton at the Meijer store at 8650 West Grand River Avenue. Pickups and drop-offs occur at the south side of the parking lot, near Cross Street.
At DTW, passengers can get on the bus at the North Terminal at the Ground Transportation Center. At the North Terminal, follow “Municipal Transportation” signs to Ground Transportation and find a small “AirRide route 787” sign by stall number 1. In McNamara Terminal follow “Municipal Transportation” and “Ticketing/Check-In” signs to Departures (Level 3), and look for Michigan Flyer outside and to the left of the doors for Air France check-in.
Passengers who need help in getting from our bus to the terminal, or vice versa, must let Michigan Flyer know in advance. You can do this when making reservations online by using the Special Needs box on the Passenger Information webpage to tell them what kind of help is requested.
Does it cost to park my car?
Yes. The fee for parking is $2.50 a day and must be prepaid online before departure from Meijer in Brighton. You can purchase a parking pass here. Michigan Flyer and Meijer ask that you leave the parking voucher on your dashboard with the bar code visible.
Do I need to pay for my luggage?
Michigan Flyer allows two checked bags, plus a purse or backpack, free of charge. Please note, to avoid extra charges for oversize or overweight baggage, each checked bag must weigh no more than 50 pounds (23 kg) and not exceed 62 inches (157 cm) in total length, width, and height.
What happens if my flight is delayed or canceled?
If you miss your scheduled coach due to a flight delay at the airport you are welcome to take the next available coach at no additional cost. However, passengers traveling to the airport who do not show for their scheduled departure must purchase a new ticket. Please give yourself ample time to get to Brighton to board the Michigan Flyer.
