Lake Kent is located inside Island Lake Recreation Area and Kensington Metropark in Brighton, Michigan. Kent Lake is home to both Martindale Beach and Maple Beach, where you can enjoy the water and the sandy beach. Martindale Beach has two water slides, sprayer cannons, and a Splash Pad to keep the children occupied.

You can either rent a boat or bring your own canoe, kayak, or paddleboard to the East boat launch point. Bluegill, Largemouth/Smallmouth bass, northern pike, Walleye, and Yellow Perch are native to Lake Kent, so be sure to bring your fishing pole. With 1,200 acres, Kent Lake always has new places for you to explore.
