Lake Kent is located inside of Island Lake Recreation Area and Kensington Metropark in Brighton, Michigan. Kent Lake is home to both Martindale Beach and Maple Beach, where you can enjoy the water along with the sandy beach. Martindale Beach has two water slides, sprayer cannons, and a Splash Pad to keep the children occupied.

You can either rent a boat or drop in your own canoe, kayak, or paddleboard into the East boat launch point. Bluegill, Largemouth/Smallmouth bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, and Yellow Perch are native to Lake Kent so be sure to bring your fishing pole. With 1,200 acres Kent Lake always has new places for you to explore.
