Spring Mill Pond is located inside of Island Lake Recreation Area in Brighton, Michigan. After checking in at the booth, take a right and continue about 2 miles, where you will come across the Spring Mill Pond parking lot and see the beautiful pond. The Spring Mill Pond is spring-fed to keep its beauty, so it stays cool and clear all year. With the pond’s small size, it makes it easy for parents to watch their kids while relaxing. For strong swimmers, you can swim across the whole pond.

Public grills, picnic tables, vending machines, and bathrooms are a few amenities Spring Mill Pond has to offer. Bring a volleyball with you to use at the sand volleyball courts located close to the lake. If fishing is more your thing, see if you can catch a brown or rainbow trout that the pond is stocked with.  There are also neighboring trails that you can use to explore more of the Island Lake Recreation Area.
