Hartland Polo Classic – June 17, 2023
Adults 21 and over will not want to miss the thundering excitement of the Hartland Polo Classic and the garden party that accompanies it! Listen to a live band while you enjoy the strolling, catered dinner followed by the parade of ponies. Sip beverages from the beer & wine tent, watch the match, and don’t miss the hat competition and diamond auction at halftime.
Hamburg Family Fun Fest – June 14-17, 2023
Start the summer with four full days of fun, food, rides, and exciting shows at the Hamburg Family Fun Fest. From a Human Cannonball and the summer’s first firework show to a cute petting zoo and amusement rides for the whole family. Festival admission is free – you just pay for parking and amusement ride wristbands.
Michigan Challenge Balloonfest – June 23 – 27, 2023
More than 50 hot air balloons take flight at Michigan Challenge Balloonfest, one of the premier summertime activities in Michigan since 1984. It’s packed with fun, including skydiving and stunt kites, carnival rides, and fireworks. Stay after dark for Evening Glow, when nearly two dozen hot-air balloons inflate and glow their envelopes against the summer night sky.
Fowlerville Family Fair – July 24-29, 2023
The Fowlerville Family Fair is a 6-day event showcasing local food, produce, arts, crafts, and more. As its name suggests, there is a ton of family fun with a rodeo, llama & alpaca show, and a carnival! In addition, they also offer three demolition derby-style shows.
Howell Melon Festival – August 18-20, 2023
This favorite summer festival celebrates the melon only grown in Howell and the city’s agricultural heritage for three full days. One of the hallmarks of the event is Howell Melon Run, a scenic walk or run ranging from 5K to 10K distances. There are a variety of activities to enjoy like live entertainment, fresh-made melon ice cream, train rides, a classic car show, fine arts, and tasty food.
Smokin’ Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival – September 8 – 9, 2023
You’ll be able to smell the award-winning barbecue searing along the streets of Brighton before you see it. Along with the meats, you can enjoy sweet treats, specialty mac n’ cheese, and more. This year, the event will be held at Mt. Brighton.
