Livingston Centre Historical Village

The Livingston Centre Historical Village resides on the campus of the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. For a step back in time to the history of the Brighton Howell Area, the Livingston Centre Historical Society offers eight buildings preserved with the area’s story.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at life in the 1882 Coughran one-room schoolhouse, 1872 Pere Marquette railroad depot, 1858 Kirkland farmhouse, 1910 Hartland barbershop, a cobbler’s shop, and 1906 Iosco Methodist Green Church, along with other historic structures.

During the Fowlerville Family Fair, buildings are open to the public yearly. All tours are available by appointment; contact the Livingston Centre Historical Society to arrange your historical experience.
