Father’s Day Itinerary

Families of all ages enjoy the Brighton Howell area. Fathers of all kinds, nature-buffs, avid gamers, craft beer connoisseurs, paintball warriors, and dedicated golfers may create cherished memories with their families here. Finding Father’s Day activities that are age appropriate may often prove to be challenging, but follow this itinerary and spend less time planning, and more time enjoying your loved ones.

Hartland Glen Golf Course (18 and up)
Escape the real world by finding peace and tranquility on the neatly manicured fairways at Hartland Glen Golf Course. The course is lined with wetlands and mature hardwoods, which aid in creating a marvelous view.

Paintball at Hell Survivors (Ages 11-18)

A healthy dose of adrenaline makes a great Father’s Day gift. Find it at Hell Survivors Paintball Playfield. Play against each other, or team up and be a Dad/Kid duo that’s a force to be reckoned with!

Biking at Kensington Metropark (Ages 11 and under)

Take a relaxing ride, or see which family member can pedal fastest at Kensington Metropark. Teaching your child how to ride a bike is a memory that neither of you will ever forget. After you finish, park the bikes and cool off in Kent Lake.

Island Lake Shooting Range (18 and up)
Was your perfect aim passed down to your kids? Find out at Island Lake Shooting Range. This is the perfect spot to bring beginners, because it is one of Michigan’s safest and most visited shooting ranges. Practice archery and clay target shooting or, pistol and rifle shooting.

The Arcade (Ages 11-18)

Xbox and Playstation are awesome but don’t fill you with the same nostalgic feelings as the games at The Arcade. Show the kids the machines that you grew up on, and see if you’ve still got it!

Zap Zone (Ages 11 and under)

Find out who the most strategic family member is through laser tag at Zap Zone! The minimum age is 5 years old, but the arcade, roller rink, and playscape can be enjoyed by little ones too!

3 Sunday Night 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Culture Beer & Cheese (21 and up)
Indulge in Michigan-brewed craft beers, cured meats and decadent charcuterie plates. Culture Beer & Cheese is located in downtown Brighton, next to other popular bars, restaurants and shops.

Zukey Lake Tavern (11-21)
Accessible by boat or car, Zukey Lake Tavern has mouthwatering pub food that is to die for. Bring your family here for dinner, or check out their breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings. Kids 6 years old and under eat for free!
